    30/06/2022 CHAIN Project meeting in Berlin hosted by TERRE DES FEMMES

    On the 21st of May, TERRE DES FEMMES welcomed in Berlin 27 Community Trainers and the project workers from the CHAIN partner organizations ActionAid Italia (Italy), Save a Girl Save a Generation (Spain) and Equipop (France) for a meeting aiming to building sustainable links between the activists from communities affected by female genital mutilation (FGM) and early and forced marriage (EFM) in different countries.

    Every year on 06th of February, TERRE DES FEMMES initiates a Germany-wide book campaign to raise awareness on the topic of FGM. The campaign took place in 22 bookstores and libraries spread throughout the whole country. It was reaching out to people who might not have heard of FGM yet but now happen to pass by a table full of books, brochures, and information material in their favourite bookstore.
