Application for the new regranting scheme

End FGM EU is launching a transformative opportunity for its member organisations: a regranting scheme designed to shift power and resources directly to survivor-led and grassroots initiatives across Europe. This scheme is designed for organisations that are survivor-led, grassroots or community-based, and/or operating in high-prevalence or under-resourced contexts, as outlined in the Terms of Reference.

You carry out essential work every day, and this scheme offers you flexible, feminist financing to strengthen your organisation on your terms. As you know, one of the main aims of the Network is to support grassroots organisations and amplify survivor leadership, building a collective force to end FGM – and YOU, our members, are at the heart of this movement.

This year, with a new source of funding, we have a unique opportunity to empower you directly through this transformative regranting scheme.


How does it work?

Through a new 3-year partnership, eligible member organisations of the Network can access semi-flexible funding to reinforce their impact at local and national levels.This scheme is fully aligned with the END FGM EU Strategic Plan 2023–2027.


Available budget

  • €24,000–€30,000 per organisation for 10 to 12 months
  • 4–5 organisations funded annually
  • €120,000 per year for 2026, 2027, 2028

This grant gives you ownership of your initiative, fully tailored to your context and community needs.

Timeline first round of regranting (Year 1)

  • Implementation: December 2025 – sept 2026
  • Application deadline: 13 February 2026, 23:59 CET DEADLINE PASSED
  • Notifications: end February 2026
  • Grant start: end of February 2026


Who can apply ?

Eligibility conditions

Only organisations that meet ALL the following criteria may apply:

  • Be Full or Associate Members of End FGM EU
  • Have capacity to deliver realistic plans and a budget aligned with organisational capacity
  • Have financial management skills and/or willingness to learn
  • Commit to feminist, intersectional and rights-based approaches
  • Be a survivor-led organisations, grassroots or community-based organisations, and operating in high-prevalence and under-resourced contexts, as described in the TOR


Key objectives of this regranting scheme

The scheme aims to:

  • Strengthen under-resourced organisations
  • Amplify survivor leadership and community ownership
  • Drive systemic change through responsive, flexible funding for survivors/community/migrant led organisations
  • Build a resilient survivor/grassroots/community-based led initiatives to End FGM in Europe
  • Support feminist, intersectional and community gender-transformative approaches to ending FGM

Reporting

Our reporting is simple and learning-focused:

  • Mid-term: 1-hour conversation and budget update
  • Final: narrative report (max 5 pages) + financial documents
  • The successful applicants will need to follow END FGM EU financial rules
  • A narrative report will need to be submitted at the end
  • A detailed financial report with supporting documents will need to be submitted at the end

IMPORTANT: Before starting your application, please carefully review all eligibility criteria in the Term of reference and in the application form before starting your application to confirm that your organisation is eligible. If you are unsure about meeting a criterion, you can reach out to the point of contact at the Secretariat.
