Nosotras Onlus was founded in 1988 in Italy with the goal of promoting intercultural dialogue and advance women’s rights.

Their focus is on women empowerment, combating gender-based violence, promoting women's health, training, combating ethnic/racial discrimination.

In 2002, Nosotras Onlus began its journey in support of women victims of gender-based violence, particularly female genital mutilation and forced and early marriages, with awareness-raising actions in Italy, stakeholder training, and international cooperation in support of the Inter African Comitee entities operating on the ground.
