Our main areas of work

Our advocacy work to end FGM and support Survivors focuses around four areas, which are particularly relevant in the European policy context: Gender-Based Violence, Asylum, Children’s rights, FGM as a global issue.

    Gender-Based Violence

Every woman and girl has the right to live a life free from any form of Gender-Based Violence and be in a safe, peaceful and enabling environment where she can fully exercise her rights. Read our position on the topic, the current status and some useful resources.

    Asylum

We advocate for a human rights based gender-, age- and culturally-sensitive Common European Asylum System. Read our position on the topic, the current status and some useful resources.

    Children's Rights

The best interest of the child must always be prioritised and children and youth must be meaningfully involved in any action that affects them. Read our position on the topic, the current status and some useful resources.
