Médicos del Mundo Updates
From 26th to 28th of October, Médicos del Mundo hosted an exchange meeting between professionals working in FGM prevention in different EU countries. This event was organized in the framework of the twinning programme supported by the End FGM European Network, thanks to which professionals from GAMS and APF visited Madrid and Zaragoza. In those cities, they were received by MdM staff who explained the different aspects of MdM intervention in FGM. Also, different meetings with national and local authorities, as well as social and health professionals, were held. At the same time, MdM organized an exchange meeting between community representatives coming from 4 EU countries, creating a space to collectively think about challenges they face in their everyday work.
