The End FGM European Network is pleased to announce the programme for our 2026 General Assembly, taking place on 4 and 5 June 2026, and bringing together our secretariat, board, members and ambassadors from across Europe for an important moment of reflection and exchange.

What is the General Assembly and who can attend?

The General Assembly is the highest decision-making body of End FGM European Network, and it is made up of all full members of the network. Associate members and Friends of End FGM EU may participate as observers, meaning that they can take part, and take the floor, but they do not have the right to vote.

According to the statutes, the General Assembly must convene at least once a year to deliberate on matters including statutory changes, approval of accounts and budgets, election of Board representatives, admission of new members, and approval of the Network’s annual work plan.

All Members can attend the General Assembly, though only Full Members have the right to vote.
