End FGM EU General Assembly / End FGM EU Assemblée Générale EN/FR

June 6 saw the annual End FGM EU general assembly come together in Brussels for a day-long gathering of the 20 members travelling from organisations all across Europe to vote on important issues and discuss next steps as a Network.

To date, End FGM EU has 20 members from 12 European countries all working in programmes that focus on ending FGM and gender-based violence.

A new board was elected after the previous boards four year stretch came to an end. Members thanked the board graciously, presenting them with token ‘keys to the Network’ before passing the baton onto the newly elected board members.

End FGM EU also took the opportunity of the General Assembly to reconnect and engage with members on current matters arising in the European movement to end FGM; establishing working groups for future projects and discussing upcoming programmes as they relate to FGM.
