The International Centre for Reproductive Health (ICRH) is a multidisciplinary research institute within Ghent University. ICRH conducts research and intervention projects in all areas of reproductive health, implements capacity building, provides community education, prevention and HIV testing services, and advocates for sexual and reproductive health and rights. ICRH is active in Africa, Latin America, Asia and Europe.

Since 1997, ICRH has continuously worked on the topic of FGM. ICRH has always been one of the main leaders in putting FGM on the EU agenda and was also an advisor to the END FGM Campaign of Amnesty International. ICRH is designated a WHO Collaborating Centre and maintains an international network of experts and partner institutions working on FGM, both in Europe and Africa.
